Marlene has worked over 19 years in the public accounting industry and the private sector establishing a close relationship with owner-managed businesses, not-for-profit organizations and professional corporations.
She is the owner of Marlene L. Grant Professional Corporation (MLGPC) since 2004 – a full time practice since 2009.
She was given the 2011 Nepean Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year award. In September 2014, Marlene was induction as a Black Canadians’ Role Model.
Gisele Salazar - Lawyer
Gisele is a Barbados-scholar, educated at Cambridge University, and a commercial lawyer specializing in technology contracting and Intellectual Property at LaBarge Weinstein LLP, a boutique law firm in the heart of Ottawa’s technology community in Kanata. She is also active in the running community and in professional organizations in her field.
Elcho Stewart - Life Insurance & Investment Broker
Elcho holds both a C.E.G.E.P. diploma and a university degree in business, is a life insurance broker and financial security advisor. Her financial columns have been featured in several publications including the Community Contact in Montreal, Capital Woman Magazine, the Spectrum newspaper, and the internationally acclaimed Inspirational Woman Magazine. Her Femmeonomics-911R women’s seminar is highly sought after. She has assisted in the establishment of the Jamaica Scholarship Support Fund (JSSF) here in Ottawa and is the founder of her elementary school’s (Haddo Primary and Infant School) Alumni Association in Jamaica. She loves people, is a passionate gardener, cook, and public speaker.
